libopenhpi2 software package provides OpenHPI libraries (runtime and support files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libopenhpi2
libopenhpi2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libopenhpi2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libopenhpi2 *
You will get with libopenhpi2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
